Personalized business cards, address labels, and more with VistaPrint
Written by Elizabeth on July 5, 2008 – 12:11 am -Ever since I first discovered VistaPrint, I have become a loyal customer. I’m on my THIRD box of 250 free business cards, plus I ordered really cute personalized magnets to hand out at events as well. VistaPrint can put your text and logo on everything from postcards to t-shirts, and they are a great source of cheap address labels, too. At Christmas, you can get these really cute ones with little cartoon faces on them.
When you become a VistaPrint customer, you can sign up for email notices of special offers. At least once a week I get an offer for free basic or custom items like business cards, notepads, magnets, and bumper stickers. I rarely pay anything but the shipping and that isn’t expensive either!
You might not need a traditional business card, but what about a “Mom” card? I picked a cute design from VistaPrint, a blue background with a big yellow sunflower, and in the text, I put my name, “Ryan, Nathan, and Kaitlyn’s Mom”, my email address, and my cell phone number, and VOILA, I now have a “Mom” business card! I hand them out to the Mothers of all of my kids’ friends so they have an easy way to find my phone number when they need it. And it was FREE, I just paid about $6.00 for shipping for 250 of them! I really encourage you to visit VistaPrint and check out all the great products they have for you to personalize.

Free shipping coupons in time for Mother’s Day
Written by Elizabeth on May 7, 2008 – 11:19 pm -I have always believed, until now that is, that shopping in stores was cheaper than shopping online. I assumed it was silly to pay shipping charges instead of just going to the store yourself. However, with the price of gas at an outrageous $3.89 a gallon here, shopping online is starting to sound like a more economical choice, especially because there are websites where you can find free shipping coupons.
I have both a Target and a Wal-Mart near my house, so the first thing I wanted to look into was how much I could save by shopping on their websites rather than driving to the stores. An easy google search brought up Walmart free shipping links from FreeShipping.org.
I have to be honest and say I was disappointed, not with FreeShipping, which has tons of links to all kinds of stores, but in what Wal-Mart called “free” shipping. Most of the links on their page are for 97 cent shipping, which isn’t FREE, and then one link to “free” shipping because they send the item you order to the nearest Wal-Mart for you to pick up! If I have to DRIVE THERE, then I’m paying for that gas, and that doesn’t make it FREE. I’d like to give Wal-Mart the benefit of the doubt and assume that there are times that they do have free shipping, but I’d have to check back again to be sure.
I also found a link to Target free shipping on the same FreeShipping.org site, and hit the jackpot:
• Free Shipping on Select Furniture Through May 10, 2008
• Free Shipping on Select Patio Furniture Through May 10, 2008
• Free Shipping on Select Lawn and Garden Items Through May 10, 2008

• Free Shipping on Select Health and Beauty Items Through May 10, 2008

• Free Shipping on Select Pet Items Through May 10, 2008
• Free Shipping on Select Clearance items while supplies last
It doesn’t link to specific pages, you’ll have to search those categories to see what is free. I did also find on the Target free shipping page that they are having Free eGiftCard promotions too :
• Free $50 Target e-Giftcard with purchase of a Dyson DC07 Animal Vacuum, Dyson DC17 Asthma and Allergy Vacuum or an iRobot Roomba Robot Vacuum Through May 10, 2008
• Free $25 Target e-Giftcard with purchase of select KitchenAid 4.5-qt. Ultra Power Stand Mixers Through May 10, 2008
• Free $20 Target e-Giftcard with purchase of a Bissell Lift-Off Revolution Pet Vac or a Bissell PowerSteamer Turbo Upright Deep Cleaner Through May 10, 2008
Now those would make excellent Mother’s Day gifts, don’t you think?? With the price of gas where it is, if you aren’t usually an online shopper, this would be a good time to look into it, especially when you can find free shipping using links on sites like FreeShipping.org. Time to shop!

MomReviews’ Fabulous Finds-Olive Kids
Written by Elizabeth on May 5, 2008 – 10:30 am -All this week I’ll be bringing you my very favorite items for Moms that have been sent to me for review. In addition to today’s fantastic find from Olive Kids, I’ve got fabulous calling cards for Moms, eco-friendly makeup brushes, wonderful smelling baby lotion, and some new food finds. If you haven’t already subscribed to get my feed either in your reader or by email, this is the week to do it!
Today’s Fabulous Find comes to you from Olive Kids (get it? I Love Kids, Olive Kids? cute!), a company started by Anita Oliveira Brandwein and Russell Brandwein when they became parents ten years ago and couldn’t find coordinated, affordable kids bedding and accessories that didn’t feature characters from TV or the movies. Not that they don’t enjoy movie characters, they just didn’t want them taking over their child’s bedroom! They believe kids rooms should “inspire creativity and play” - not be an advertisement for a TV show or movie. Amen to that!
The Olive Kids website is bright, colorful, and fun, just like the products they sell. The bedding and accessories design features classic children’s themes like transportation, space, cowboys, animals, tea parties, and more. I was thrilled when they asked me if I would like to review a Personalized Framed Print. I knew it would go in Kaitlyn’s room so I showed her the page of choices, and she chose the “Blossoms and Butterflies” print. It looks great!

Now, I know the price tag of $59.99 might seem high, but don’t let that keep you from checking out the rest of the site. Also, for a personalized print in a frame, that’s really not expensive. It’s a perfect gift suggestion for a new baby gift, birthday or Christmas present!
To celebrate their tenth anniversary, Olive Kids is having an incredible giveaway. The Grand Prize is an entire Olive Kids room valued at $750!!! First Place is a Personalized Package valued at about $250, and Five Runner Ups will receive a Personalized Placemat Pack and Name Tag worth over $50. Details on how to enter are here; you have until 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2008.
Thanks again to Olive Kids and especially Kim for contacting me and sending me the beautiful print. Yours is a site I am more than happy to endorse, and your products are definitely FABULOUS FINDS!
