Forty dice are packaged in a tube, and the basic rules are simple – up to four players each choose a color of dice, someone says “Go”, and everyone starts rolling their dice, trying to get all ten to show the same number. Everyone rolls at the same time, and the first person to get the same number showing on all ten dice yells “Tenzi!” and they win!

Tenzi comes with instructions for how to play the basic game as well as rules for more ways to play, like trying to get five dice of one number and five of another (“Splitzi”), on teams,  stacking the dice in a tower, and more.  What I like most about Tenzi is that it’s adaptable to different ages.
