I like keeping Stouffer’s entrees in the freezer for busy days when I don’t have time to cook a whole meal from start to finish.  What’s great about Farmers’ Harvest is that you get the taste you’ve come to expect from Stouffer’s combined with high-quality ingredients like sea salt, olive oil and real cheese. Whole grains are featured in eight recipes while four of the individual meals feature ½ cup of vegetables:

• Vegetable Lasagna made with Whole Grain Pasta – Freshly made whole grain lasagna layered with a colorful medley of carrots,spinach,broccoli and onions with a Parmesan and Romano cheese sauce

• Chicken & Parmesan Pasta Bake with a Vegetable Medley – Chicken and Parmesan pasta with a medley of broccoli,carrots and red peppers in a butter sauce.

• Grilled Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo with a Vegetable Medley – Grilled white meat chicken and fettuccini in a creamy Alfredo sauce with a medley of buttery seasoned broccoli,carrots and grilled red peppers.

• Meat & Sauce Lasagna made with Whole Grain Pasta – Freshly made whole grain lasagna layered with an herb seasoned tomato and meat sauce with mozzarella, parmesan and cottage cheeses.

Stouffer’s sent me each of the new entrees to review at the beginning of last week, and we’ve already eaten all but one of them because they looked so good we couldn’t wait to try them!  Everyone in the family agrees that the Chicken & Parmesan Pasta Bake and the Grilled Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, both of which are single-servings, must be kept stocked in the freezer at all times, they are that good!  This is the Chicken & Parmesan Pasta Bake right out of the microwave:
