Sweater + Quilt = Swilt!  The Swilt is a super-cozy fleece lined sweatshirt with a hidden twist! The site calls it a sweater but to me it’s a sweatshirt because of the material. Either way, you get a thick outer garment with a front pocket, a hood, and a roomy fit that goes easily over a short or long sleeved shirt. The twist is that attached to the middle of the Swilt with two buckles is a warm blanket made of the same material, AND it even has a pocket for your feet!

The Swilt is really a revolutionary product, like nothing else I’ve seen anywhere. I am ALWAYS cold, no matter the time of the year. When I sit on the couch to write a blog post or watch TV, I always have a blanket over my legs and feet. When I set up my work area down in our basement, I took a couple of blankets down with me so I could stay warm while I work down there. Thanks to the Swilt, I can stay warm downstairs, and if I need to run upstairs for something, my blanket comes with me!
There are other “wearable blankets” on the market, the ones that have the built-in sleeves, but the Swilt is unique because it’s actually a wearable piece of clothing AND a blanket.  You get a thick, soft sweatshirt that will keep you warm any time, in Burgundy, Blue, Grey, and Camo. It comes in two sizes – Large, and “Smedium” which is bigger than small but smaller than medium. That’s the one I received for review and it fits perfectly.

Unclip the buckles and down comes the blanket, and it also has a cool extra feature! At the bottom of the blanket is a foot pocket that is soft fleece inside and water resistant nylon on the outside. What’s great about that is while it keeps your feet warm, the nylon protects the bottom of the Swilt (and your feet!) from dirty floors at home or in the bleachers at your favorite sporting event. You can see it in the image at the top of the post.
