Lite Sprites Wand and Prisma Review and Giveaway

 ”Welcome to Lite-Topia, an enchanted land that sparkles with color and light”, the description says, and with that, you are ushered into the beautiful, colorful, magical world of  Lite Sprites, a collection of figures, pets, playsets, and even a magic wand ! The Lite Sprite world is all about color – displaying it, sharing it, finding new colors to love. I see a lot of cool new toys but Lite Sprites is really doing something no one else is doing.  I think Lite Sprites are going to be HUGE from now through Christmas, and if you think the little girl you love is going to want them, I’d start buying the pieces now!

The Lite Sprite collection includes the following – the Lite Wand, five Sprites each with their own pod for resting, Deluxe Playsets in Swing, Windmill, Waterfall, Flower where the Sprites can play, Lite Pets  which come in four sets of four pets and include a log for them to sit in, and the Tree of Lite™, a multi-level forest hideaway that comes alive with color and includes interactive sounds, light-up staircase, working elevator and spinning, sparkling treetop.

Lite Sprites use color and light to express their moods and feelings, and each has her own personality and domain in the natural world. Prisma is the leader of the Lite Sprite Sisterhood. She’s friendly and fun and loves to play with her pet butterfly. Meadow likes a good joke and and is passionate about nature and her pet bumblebee. Brooke is always on the go and loves to swim with her pet frog. Astra is a dreamer and star gazes with her pet firefly. Bleak, the naughty Sprite, rejects color and uses her powers to eliminate or disrupt color in Lite-Topia.

Each Lite Sprite comes preprogrammed with colors, visible by pushing a small button on the back. Prisma has 10 colors and the other Sprites have 7, and what makes Lite Sprites REALLY cool is that they can SHARE their colors with each other, and collect new colors from the Lite Wand! I shot a video with my Xoom Tablet (provided to me as part of a blogging program with Verizon) of Kaitlyn demonstrating how the wand, Lite Sprites, and Swing accessory work and uploaded it to YouTube. Harumika Puppies and Purses Review and Giveaway – 2 Winners!

Younger girls might need help learning how to center the purse on the fabric before starting to tuck it in, once Kaitlyn got the hang of it though, she got all the fabric tucked in and the gem centered on her finished purse. Here she is proudly showing it off!  Retail price – $7.99.

The Harumika Puppy set comes with one of four cute puppies, three special-cut fabrics, a bow and leash, a bed that can also be styled, and a bone-shaped stylus tool. Unfortunately I can’t show you my own photo since Kaitlyn misplaced the dog shortly after we got it and we can’t find it anywhere. See the two holes on the fabrics? You slip the puppy’s front legs through those holes and then tuck the extra fabric into the style lock underneath – genius! Kaitlyn loved getting the puppy in a new “outfit” and then putting it in the bed – at least until she misplaced it :) Retail price – $7.99.

Diecast Toy Vehicles are Highly Appealing

If you are looking for a new hobby, are searching for a unique gift, or you are simply looking for some new interesting décor to add to your home, diecast toy vehicles may be the answer you have been searching for. Die cast toys have been a hot collectible item for many years. It may seem strange to you that these toys can be popular collector’s items, but all you need to do is look at one of these awesome models to see that they are not your average plaything.

Although there are numerous reasons why people may enjoy collecting diecast toy vehicles, there are three things that these intricately designed models have in common that make them highly appealing:

  1. Nostalgia – Many of these toys bring back fond memories from childhood
  2. Long lasting – unlike plastic toys, die-cast vehicles do not degrade with time. They are made from solid and durable materials, and will keep their pristine appearance, especially when they are cared for properly.
  3. Value increases with age – As time passes, diecast toy vehicles steadily increase in value. While any item can be worth a pretty penny, usually the larger and more complete a collection and the more immaculate the models, the more valuable they will be.
