I am so excited about this giveaway! My daughter isn’t quite old enough for the Fancy Nancy books, but she saw the dolls and accessories at Target and practically knocked me over to get to them. So imagine my surprise when I got an email from Janis at Jakks Pacific asking if I would like to review and giveaway something from their exclusive Fancy Nancy line of dolls, dress up clothes, and accessories! When the box arrived, Kaitlyn and I sat on my bed and took a close look at Fancy Nancy, and let me tell you, she is FANCY!
From her purple-streaked hair tied with ribbons and heart-shaped hair clips that come off to be worn by the lucky girl, to her strand of beads, spotted leotard, ruffled poodle skirt, socks with tiny hearts and shoes with pompoms, this Fancy Nancy doll is sure to be a delightful gift for any little girl. The age recommendation is 4-7, but Kaitlyn is 2.5 and I make sure she is very careful with the doll. These photos will show you just how special this doll is:

Giveaway Week extended into Next Week!
Written by Elizabeth on June 20, 2008 – 11:39 pm -Because I still have MORE STUFF to give away, and because I had my wedding anniversary on Thursday and foolishly thought I would just have tons of time to do my usual blogging that day when I really didn’t, and because a friend had an emergency today and asked me to please let her son come over and spend all day and tonight, I wasn’t able to post as many giveaways this week as I had planned. SO, next week will be Giveaway Week AGAIN!
I’ll modify the banner and badge to reflect next week’s dates and post them first thing Monday morning. Why is it that kids love to try on sunglasses, but can never actually keep them on? I’m always trying to entice my daughter with a pair that I think she will like, ones with little characters on them from the TV shows she watches, but she won’t keep them on. Did you know that until children are eight or nine years old, they have no filters in the eye to block out UV light?
